Remnant Quest

The Remnant Quest
WEEKLY CHALLENGES
WEEK 1 • OCTOBER 1 — THE CALL OF THE REMNANT
Focus: Pioneer history & faithful endurance
“Remember those who came before, strong in faith and brave in trial.”
FOCUS: Pioneer history and faithful endurance.
Clue: Go to the park where Tumwater Falls Flow – look for signs telling about pioneers who stayed faithful through challenges.
YOUR FIRST MISSION: Find the stories of people who came before—and discover what their endurance can teach us about remaining faithful today.
■ PIONEER STORY CAPTURE
Find one pioneer name on a sign and write a 3-sentence reflection on how that person showed endurance.
■ FAITHFUL ARTIFACT PHOTO
Take a photo of the oldest historical marker you can find and explain what “faithfulness through trial” means today.
■ ENDURANCE MOMENT
Record a 15-second video where your group shares one modern challenge teens face and how faith helps them endure.
■ REMNANT REFLECTION
Write a 1–2 paragraph reflection connecting the site to the theme of the remnant—God's people staying faithful and ready for Jesus' return. Use Bible verses to support your thoughts. You may also use videos, art, essays, social-media posts, or other creative formats.

Find a symbol of watchfulness (torch, lamp, eagle, seal, motto) and explain its meaning.
■ PREPAREDNESS POSE
Take a group photo in front of the dome doing a “ready stance” and share one way they stay spiritually prepared.
■ CAPITOL SCRIPTURE MATCH
Match a Capitol symbol to a Bible verse about readiness (e.g., Matthew 25, 1 Thessalonians 5).
