How Registered Students Compete:

​

1. Read the clue carefully and find the location it describes (public and safe places only).  Be smart, be safe, be aware of your surroundings.

2. Visit the location during daylight hours with your team.

3. Take clear photos of key features mentioned in the clue and selfies of your team at the location.

4. Write a brief reflection (1–2 paragraphs) that connects the site to the theme of the remnant—God’s people remaining faithful and ready for Jesus’s return. Use Bible verses to support your thoughts.  You may also use videos, art, essays, social media posts, and other materials for your reflection.

5. Submit: Send photos, videos, art, reflections, and Bible verse connections weekly.  Submissions can be done online or at the weekly Youth Group.

6. Final Week: Submit a complete portfolio summarizing your journey, what you learned, and how it inspires you to be part of God’s faithful remnant.

7. Behavior: Respect property, stay in public places, travel safely using the buddy system, and follow local rules. Parental consent is required.

8. Clues for the week will be given out at The Remnant Youth Group each Thursday night and posted to the website on the following Monday.

9. Weekly gift cards will be awarded to the group that demonstrated extraordinary effort that week.  The weekly winners will be announced at the Thursday Night Youth Group and posted to the website on the following Monday.​

Judging Criteria

• Accuracy (30%): Correctly finding and documenting the locations.

• Biblical Insight (30%): Thoughtful reflections linking the site to Scripture and the remnant theme.

• Creativity & Quality (20%): Clear photos, neat writing, and meaningful additional observations.

• Participation (10%): Consistent weekly submissions and teamwork.

• Final Portfolio (10%): Strong summary, personal application, and presentation.

• Bonus points for memorizing verses or for acts of service that show remnant faithfulness.
